Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of IT, the incumbent is responsible for resolving or escalating Eclipse employee incidents throughout their lifecycle, from submission/detection to fulfillment/resolution in a fast paced and busy environment.   

  • Maintenance and repairs of existing computers

  • Build computers as required

  • Identifying ports and wiring

  • Software installation

  • Help Desk assistance including set-up of initial employee access

  • Entering and maintaining employee information in database as it pertains to internal system access

  • Maintain good corporate citizen role in support of the Eclipse corporate mission, vision and values

  • Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures

  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned

  • Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Eclipse Automation Inc. Conduct Code               


College degree in a related IT field or equivalent experience required


  • Knowledge and experience of computer and laptop hardware components

  • Solid understanding of virus protection and all related maintenance

  • Five years’ experience in maintaining IT systems in a mid-size organization

This position is open for Eclipse HQ in Cambridge, Ontario.
